Standing firm like soldiers Sent to war without armor and weapons, Flanked by boldness while fighting like trojans. Scrambling with great patience To treat the disheartening patients, Through the thick and thin.

Decorated with bravery; Battling to evade the esophagus blasts. Burning desire to end the pandemic slavery; Keeping the confused in bed From falling victim to the evil seed. Death is no longer fictionally led Patients are rising with need Nurses are falling dismally mad Going down like pawns Losing their lives through a ruthless whip. What a calamity, like fried prawns?
Gallant boys and girls Fighting to save their friends; Providing palliative care of warmth. The most distressing in their professional lives, illustrated by soaring numbers of death; Making the ultimate sacrifice for their patients.

Your ward rounds are absolute gold, Working around the clock, Triple pacing from patient to patient Spending your time listening to them Squeezing reassurance by being patient When so many are feeling too rushed for time.
