People and place
Economic resilience is cultivated by embedding gender equity into everyday practice. Environmental stewardship is integrated as part of community wellbeing, reflecting the understanding that people and place are inseparable.

Those who support this work are invited into a relationship rather than a transaction. Stories of transformation spark emotional connection and show profound, tangible impact. Intentional travel experiences foster understanding and invite global collaboration.
Mentorship is the mechanism
Mentorship happens both collectively and individually. Alongside group activities and discussions, mentors provide one-on-one guidance, helping young people navigate personal challenges, family circumstances, education decisions, and future aspirations.
Mentors work closely with families, caregivers, schools, and community leaders to build support around each young person. This may include home visits, community engagement activities, and ongoing conversations that strengthen understanding and trust.
Across all clubs, mentors help young people develop practical life skills, confidence, resilience, and a sense of responsibility to their communities. They challenge harmful gender stereotypes, promote gender equity, and encourage young people to become changemakers in their own lives and communities.
This shared foundational approach holds the work together while creating space for local adaptation, innovation, and individuality. Each mentor brings their own voice, culture, creativity, and leadership. The emphasis is not on rapid expansion of clubs. It is on depth, integrity, and long term presence.

At the heart of GSGC are mentorship clubs where young people build confidence, explore identity and begin to imagine new possibilities. Our three-year mentorship curriculum is the framework shared across clubs, strengthening the quality and consistency of sessions while allowing flexibility for local context.

Support does not end when students leave secondary school. Alumni programming helps young adults navigate the transition into higher education, employment, and independence through mentorship, practical skills training, and continued community connection.

Alumni scholarships support young people who face financial barriers to further education. Scholars receive both financial support and ongoing mentorship, helping them navigate new environments with confidence.
YOUTH Mentorship Centers
Youth Mentorship Centers serve as community hubs where young people can access technology, internet connectivity, educational resources, and collaborative learning spaces. These centers expand access to opportunity while creating environments for connection, creativity, and growth.
