Collaborative Curriculum Development: A Fruitful 3-Day Workshop

Our recent 3-day curriculum development workshop was a powerful and inspiring experience. It brought together passionate mentors, Dorothy, our curriculum development specialist and dedicated team members from across the region, all committed to strengthening the quality of sessions delivered in our local clubs.

Over the three days, participants worked hand-in-hand to review the progress made this year, reflect on what has worked in their clubs, and shape a clear, well-structured curriculum that reflects the ongoing needs of our communities. Ideas flowed freely as the group brainstormed, refined concepts, and turned shared knowledge into practical session plans. The creativity and problem-solving displayed made the workshop both productive and energizing.

Our experienced mentors played a key role—offering guidance, sharpening our content, and boosting the confidence of the facilitators. Their support helped us align our work with best practices while ensuring it remained relevant and engaging for the youth we serve.

This workshop was a significant milestone in our journey towards delivering impactful and meaningful programs. We are excited to roll out the finalized curriculum and continue working closely with mentors and club members to bring this to life in 2026.
