What drew us to Tusa Munyandi is the fact that they are a group of volunteers committed to helping the orphaned and vulnerable children in their community of Dambwe, just outside of Livingstone, Zambia. They came together as a group of concerned citizens to help make sure the most vulnerable children are able to stay in school and in homes with relatives and not become street children.
With so many orphaned and vulnerable children in the community, they had to reach out for financial support to cover school fees and assist the caregivers. The GS Giving Circle supports Tusa Munyandi with covering school fees for the children, some of the overhead costs and has provided capital for micro-funding projects for the caregivers.
