How we partner with African communities

Travel: We have been to every project

Our travels have led us to many remote communities and we have seen people hard at work to improve their lot. Some have given their full attention and energies to caring for the most vulnerable members of their neighborhoods: the children from families devastated by AIDS. Only after meeting the local leaders do we determine whether to engage and commit to a supportive partnership.

Action: How donations go to work

There are no intermediary or linking organizations through which control or funding is diffused. The Giving Circle is in direct contact with the beneficiary partners and can thus monitor the correct disbursement of gifts.
Our way of giving is truly transformational, both for the donors and for the partners. The members of The Giving Circle learn to dive deep into the complexities of community development and international grant making while weaving strong bonds with other travelers and experts.

Monitoring: Staying Connected

Frequent communication and regular visits guarantee better results and greater transparency than donor-driven Monitoring & Evaluation templates. We ensure that communities can adapt the gift to the needs of their children.
